Eclipse is faster than NetBeans, uses the OS native window rendering (looks better too and has better font rendering on GNU/Linux and OS X than the alternatives) and has more plugins. Literally any language on the planet is supported.
NetBeans is less convoluted though and it's God-tier for pure Java development.
IntelliJ is proprietary shit, it's subscription based, and it's not significantly better than either of these two. Into the trash it goes.
