It's actually WinFLP. It's not connected to the Internet either, and it only has a single folder shared which has the program I need to use. It's pretty hard if you dont already know linux. You are not allowed to get help from the internet in-class, and shit like yum is not allowed. The exams ask for very specific commands and an understanding of how everything in the OS works together. We never install a GUI for the whole class

Used to use it for different services with xen/openvz, stopped when I realized that nothing was doing anything overly complicated so there's no decent reason to isolate them all. I just run them on bare metal and say fuck it.

I downloaded the ISO from Kickass Torrents.
The one I could install in VMware was the 10.4.6 ISO. If you have an old Mac that can actually run Tiger though then just use that. Tiger in a VM is pretty broken. No working audio and QE/CI doesn't work at all, so the entire UI is CPU drawn or something.
