serious talk, get an iPad
If you are just planning on using it for web browsing, youtube the iPad is the best choice by miles. Also in terms of battery life iPad is ahead of the game by miles. Personal experience, I have left an iPad on standby for 2 weeks with a 20% loss in battery life.
By all means get an android or W8.1 tablet but I doubt it will live up to the iPad (although you will pay a premium and be on a restricted OS)
