How do you guys install arch ?
Arch iso vs architect iso
I don't. It's Debian sid for babbahs and undergraduates.
Arch iso is a lot easier. Architects gui just added a lot of extra screens for no reason.

Hahaha ... Your scarcasum is unbearably funny
on my own of course
never tried architect, but I liked helmuthdu script for installing, its what I used as noob, now I still feel like noob, but installation is so fucking trivial

Read it like 6 times.
use a virtual machine to install it on in case you screw it up the first time

I use Slackware.
was planning to make a guide on how to install arch
simple infographic... but it got large fast...
turned from this at first try...

in to this at second attempt
and that feels damn large, and I feel final guide with also xfce ricing and infinality and AUR siht would be on like 8 screens :/

Is it really this easy? Legit interested as I use gentoo, and I thought the arch install was as complicated as the gentoo one.
>>51542214
yeah
the basic install that boots arch is done after that...
whats left is basic system settings, xorg, de/wm and shit like that
>>51542214
lmao no, the arch install is way easy. Takes 20 minutes if you're slow. It really is as simple as the pic, with some minor modifications for things like EFI

Sweet. I wish gentoo could automate its shit, but make.conf.
