Hi /g/

So this is kind of a weird request but I was wondering if anyone had any cool simple technology-related DIY ideas? To elaborate, I had fun making the magnifying glass and shoebox smartphone projector and today I made the smartphone holgram (pic related) and it was super cool. Does anyone know of any similar mini-projects?

* air filter
* daylight lamp w/ 100W LED

If you like engineering, get a soldering iron, hot air gun, multimeter, screwdrivers and you can recycle your old electronic to make new, fix electronics etc.

Good idea, thanks!

If you combine a hydrogen fuel cell with a lithium air battery you get a nice power source for your electroactive polymer muscles.

lamps are pretty fun to make from paper craft

same idea as your pic, except instead of there being 4 views reflected in 4 directions you have a spinning mirror reflecting images from a projector.

Hey OP

raspberrypi org/blog/magic-mirror/

Somehow is as visual as your previous projects but a little more software-based. I wanted to make one for myself for a while now, but gf exactly knows that I would build it with a cam and would use it to make nekkid shots of her so she said I'm not allowed to build it.

I always wanted to try this one.

yeah that what I thought too. also easy to build and the software shouldn't be a problem either. you can buy those mirrors on a legal basis! But still, it seems pretty expensive considering the fact that it's only a toy to probably impress guests with and has no really practical use.

I wanted to work with a raspberry since it's on the market and I often look for good projects to work with it but sadly none of them are good enough that I'd say yeah I do it and it will improve *insert situation here*
