Don't tell me you use mono.
Apache gave me a lot of problems trying to get a server up and runny, Nginx was pretty awesome if your a beginner, it's newer and less resource hungry so Nginx it is

I do.

SQLite doesn't require a server.
Is good mostly for the "micro services" model.

nginx
I use both though
>>51460313
neither because they both sound racist to be honest
nginx is easier to manage

Linux
Nginx
Postgres
Python
LAMP suite because it literally doesn't fucking matter what you use for a home server as long as you can set it up quickly.

Mono on Linux is better than .NET on Windows.

Been running a 1.5TB private booru and mail servers for one year.

Whichever you're most comfortable with.
Your home connection isn't going to have enough bandwidth that it will make a difference, even when coupled with the CPU & disk bandwidth available on an 8 year old laptop.

It's even good for production services. If a system doesn't need to be spread across multiple machines, and SQLite supports the calls being done, it's stable, and often faster than a traditional DB server.
The dev team on it is fscking amazing.
