I knew someone who installed Arch on their Surface Pro 3.
Also many people have been installing hackintosh on their surface pros for a while now. To be honest I thought about buying surface pro 4s and putting hackintosh on them and selling them to people as the true ipad pro.

What's the problem with duel booting android os on a surface pro?
The way I see it if you only plan to use it for light use then load up android, if you plan to do a little more intensive work then load up Windows/Linux. Besides with solid states booting is only 10 seconds at most.

It's not the Surface shilling, but the Win10 wank which raises an eyebrow on my part. I just don't see why you HAVE to use that OS when the Surface is a goddamn PC that you can load other OS on it.
You just can't do something like that on the iPad, period. Microsoft actually keeps having alternate OS in mind as a use case, not so with Apple.
