That was my fear that I have to run the debloat shit all over again and go hack around in group policies and registry
That took fucking time when I installed this shit.
Very happy with this build. They fixed the sound problems I had and everything seems faster.
>Also in today’s update, we’re delivering on our promise to enable our enterprise customers to turn off all telemetry data if they choose. We strongly recommend against this, as this data helps us deliver a secure, reliable, and more delightful personalized experience. We’ll continue to work with third-party experts and incorporate your feedback on this important topic.

reduced by almost half? how is that even possible? sounds like bigger iso sizes are a huge scam. but, again, the whole industry is a scam.

> There's also a new interesting wrinkle for Enterprise customers who opt to put some machines/users on the LTSB. Microsoft is planning to make available every "two to three years" a refreshed LTSB snapshot build which it will offer those customers. That means there will be options even for those on LTSB to receive periodically a refreshed build with new features baked in, if administrators decide to make it available to them.

Per-monitor DPI scaling is literally the only reason.
The lower res scaling is pretty shitty anyway but it's still worth it.
Otherwise I'd still be on 7.
still using 6 years old setup without High DPI support

So I just ran Destroy Windows 10 Spying and the system is so much snappier.
It also went from using about 15% of RAM upon boot (I got 8GB), to only about 10% upon boot.

because that new calc takes half a second to load, and im used to the old one loading instantly.
so when i ctrl-r calc i start calculating shit immidiatly, but with win10 calc i started typing before the program loaded and it threw me off ery time.

My only complaint about this update is this nag when you have UAC off. (via group policy or EnableLUA in registry)
This is the Settings modern app which always used to work even if UAC was off in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 build 10240. It doesn't even stop you from opening it, it just shows this dialog and then opens it like normally.
Haven't used UAC since Vista but I guess I'll be starting unless there's a workaround.
>>51314215
Why not just turn UAC on and set it to not never notify?
Literally makes no difference
>>51314161
because you probably have shitty old version? no? or an old-ass gpu
>>51314231
Can you confirm if you right-click an executable and "Run as administrator" that no dialog appears? Can't test it at the moment.
