i've used commview. ignore these turds.

when you install, it probably said something about drivers for your wifi. if you let it, commview will install its monitor-mode drivers, but if the card you're using doesn't support monitor mode, you're still SOL. if you're using whatever the onboard wifi is for your system, you're probably kinda stuck. i'd grab an alfa card or something else that's known to play well with monitor mode. if all else fails, i believe the tamos website has a list of compatible usb wifi adapters that are known to work with commview.

hurf durf. guess i should've mentioned that once you start commview, it tries to auto-enable with those new/modded drivers and unless you do some hardcore tinkering, your wifi will appear "offline" because you can't do general web browsing in monitor mode with windows.
