Other than the Qnix Evolution II, is there another 1440P monitor that goes beyond 75Hz and retails for less than 400USD? If it has an IPS panel, even better. Also, general gaymer monitor shit.

I just bought this. It's 1440p and 144hz for $329. No vesa mount and it's refurbished so hopefully I don't get fucked.

I don't trust refurbished monitors. They probably got sent back due to backlight bleed or bad color reproduction.

Eww, it's TN, whatever the listing says. Just go all out and pick up a used MG279 (144hz, nice IPS) for ~500 or suck it up and settle for the evolution II. I have both and they are great monitors.
I'm just a little autistic about color reproduction.

just spend an extra 100 and get the mg279q

Can't figure out what to do.

Currently have both a 290X and 980ti, and a Qnix 1440p at 96Hz. The 290X can't run 1440p worth a fuck, which is why I bought the 980ti. However, I find myself wanting freesync and to not support green team shit. Should I sell the 980ti and buy a Nixeus 1080p 144Hz freesync, or just sell the 290X and stick with what I have? Gsync seems like a tax for stupid people, and I can't spend $800 on a monitor.

The Qnix has been pretty good, but the DVI only connection is sort of annoying, plus the IPS glow is bad, and there aren't any color settings. In fact, the monitor has no settings menu at all. It's also basically a panel slapped in the worst piece of shit frame they could find.

Also, are modern TN panels better than they used to be?

sort of just depends on if you value high refresh vs 1440p I suppose
