With all the memes about the nVidia 970 how bad would be buying one now? is it better to wait for something?
Where's everyone gone?

>in a few months AMD and Nvidia are finally going to release 14/16 nm GPUs, after being stuck on 28 nm for several years and skipping 20 nm, which will bring a large jump in performance and energy efficiency
>chooses to buy an old 28 nm anyway
>on top of that, chooses to buy the 3.5 GB stutterfest with no async compute joke card
If you're gonna be retarded and buy a 28 nm GPU now, either get a 390 or upgrade to a 980 or 390X. Don't buy GPUs with defective VRAM.
R9 390 > 970 GTX
Two 960s.

It's so bad, a bomber uses it.
I bought one in October for $270 plus R6 Siege, it was a nice deal. The 390 is undoubtedly superior, except on multi monitor power consumption, but it does its job well as a holder until Polaris comes out.
