Holy shit getting sound to function on this laptop with xfce was annoying. Got it all working. Cept now a pnmixer icon wont show in panel. But hot keys work so whatever. but damn. why doesn't xfce fix this crap. I think since laptops have some weird soundcard shit it's different than on desktops.
anyone else get sound issues with xfce? using arch but that doesn't matter. thank you AUR for the help.
