It does. But it won't support much weight on it's own. I have it in the wall by itself in maybe three studs, and with my bookshelf's on each end (7ish pounds each) I didn't trust it. The extra L brackets make it rock solid. Mine are all 8x8, all four into studs.

Not sure what that has to do with battlestations, but yeah, when OnTrac actually does work, it works great and early. It is a local west coast/California courier that Newegg uses. If you live in California and order before noon, if the item comes from Newegg's southern California warehouse, you get it the next day.
