Engineering software is not a true engineering field, buddy. I hate to break it to you but listening to a clients needs, requirements and limitations, using conventions and providing a team of code monkeys with those tools is NOT something you need a degree to have competence in.

Coding and design conventions that the real world uses can be found in any Ivor Horton programming book these days. All of the skills and large scale projects can be read about in a week or less and can be practically applied in that same time.

You programmers need to stop thinking you're the shit. I remember when I thought I was the shit for disabling the entire city school districts web blocking programs as a sophomore. Programming isn't hard, its just that normies are really stupid.

CS is a meme. It's C++ primer with the addition of the A+ manual.

I've seen CS students get 3.7 GPAs in school and fall flat on their asses when they graduate because all they can do is puke out Java code that belongs in a textbook.
