So I have been doing a protein-sparing modified fast since 10 days ago, and it seems my progress have lagged since 5 days ago. (unsure as to the time in the day I took pics, though)
What do? I have like until the 30th of eating like this.
Is it because instead of protein shakes (which actually has a lot of carbs in total) I transitioned to eating cans of tuna per day?
WTF
BUMP with some old school /fit/ humor

The thing is, there was progress the first 5 days or so. I lost like 10 lbs! There is no way that in my manlet height and weight that is all water weight.
After the 30th though or maybe even as early as 28th I might jump into maintenance just so I could try the Ultimate Diet 2.0 I have heard good things about it as far as recomp goes.
>5'9" manlet
>149 lbs. this morning
>Got until 2nd May to look "good" for instagram when I am in vacay
>going to be 140-145 lbs. at 10% bodyfat (I hope... not when this lag is happening)
BTW people have got to stop attributing PSMF with Lyle Mcdonald, he wrote "Rapid Fat Loss" which is effective, but he did not think of PSMF.

Like as the data shows, in the beginning I was at 20%, then I went down to 17% but now my estimate (as the caliper goes) is 16.4% given, I havent been back to the Bodpod just yet so I dont know for sure

what you stalled on a super restrictive low cal diet, what a surprise.
This is why that approach is stupid. You threw everything in at the start of your cut and now you have nowhere to go.
My advice, reverse diet out and do a proper cut.
A proper cut is when you pull cals as slow as possible, get as much out of as little as you can.
Say you get fatloss at a 50 cal deficit, if you go to 100 cal deficit, you don't double your fatloss. So get as much fatloss as you can out of that 50 cal deficit, then increase and so on and so forth. Cutting and bulking is all about manipulating homeostasis, if your diet is the same week by week, you will adapt, as you have noticed. Even on super restrictive diets, eventually you stall and then you are fucked. So keep it progressing. this is basic knowledge among actually intelligent bodybuilders like john meadows.

Lyle Mcdonald outlined why a traditional "bulk and cut" is not really feasible nor ideal for 90% of natty bodybuilders.
Its been happening to me since 2011, I've bulked and about 60% of "gains" goes to fat. When I cut, I cut mostly muscle. Our bodies are just built for survival, thats all. Mine just much better than others, apparently.
P.s. You cant jump on a reverse diet in a middle of PSMF, otherwise you will end up worse. Now you have to transition for a week and then cut.
what does a 5'9" 140 lbs. dude at 10% BF look like anyways?
