Core has a bad angle for the shot. I just hit a bodyweight (180) strict standing OHP today/squat heavy, and I try to do ab work but it never seems to grow, wide hips kinda steals my thunder as well.

Most lifts I do are
1x30 warm up
2x12 work up/midway
3x8 heavy
The exception is deadlifts which sometimes I'll pull 3 wheels for doubles or 185lbs for like 10/12.

I know I could have more gainz - I was putting more weight on every workout at first, but after the 2nd month I intentionally slowed down on adding weight so I could focus on proper form. I was running into issues with pain / improper form on reps, and wanted to get that straightened out before I moved up in weight. I am kind of strict with myself, I don't count it as a rep if the form wasn't good.

Nah, my biceps are shit I think.
Pullups/ Chinups weighted at least 4-5 sets 2 times a week, all sets till failure or one before failure, always in the below 8 rep range and curls with whatever I can get 5-8 reps out of again kind of the same. Didn't even have an arm day till about 1 month ago.

If you are happier than most people expressing yourself they will try to being you down, but that's just their insecurities showing. Who said steroids make muscle growth easier? You still need to have diet + training dialed in to reap the maximum benefit.

Look at the human studies with testosterone.

The group that didn't work out gained more LBM than natty lifters but the most exponential growth was seen in users + training.

They used 600mg test if I recall correctly.
