But we're talking about powerlifting. If this guy's actually looking to compete in the longish term, he needs to understand that weight classes are really height classes, and that the best lifters in the 105 category are about 6', and even 5'10 on the national/international level.

you dont understand OP is a fatty who doesnt have the stats your typical 105kg dude that competes in the national (let alone international) level has.He barely OHPs 1pl8 for 6 for fucks sake.and he already weighs 105kg.He can only OHP half his bodyweight for 6 reps.He has no potential for future bulking if he doesnt cut hard now.He needs to lose about 15kg,then slowbulk back to his original weight while training hard to get real powerlifting stats for that weight.

By powerlifting standards you are fat and weak. With those lifts you wouldn't even be competitive in the lowest weight classes.

Powerlifting is only for fat people if they are really fucking strong. Otherwise, you need to have a low bodyfat percentage so you can compete with people who weigh less.
