And it's purely anecdotal, but he gained a bunch of strength and size on his long cut, so I assume that I would as well if I'm a higher bf%, and arguably better genetics for strength and size

Plus I like the way it's set out, even if it's not 100% optimal, I'd do it because ot's extremely easy for me to comply with, which is most important for me

Plus I'm cutting for health reasons so being autistic about my macro ratios and getting in micros is important to me

Anecdotal but last year I managed to cut 3kg of fat and gain 2kg of muscle over 12 weeks confirmed by DEXAscans by being SUPER AUTISTIC. I was doing almost exactly what Wank plans to do down to cycling calories. Even if you might as well eat only the same amount, the extra calories on training days did give me more energy to train than eating at a flat rate and I lost about as much weight. All anecdotal autistic spreadsheet stuff so don't take it as gospel.

I completely believe it can be done, I have done it, and I intend to do it again.

It is all sorts of late right now, but gosh darnit I do get baited into this kind of thing easily.

Basically I only really care about weekly calories. I work out my maintenance and I work out how fast I want to lose weight based on ye olde 3500cal=1lb and cut that from the weekly total. I distribute the calories around my training days to ensure that I get as much energy as possible to still complete my training and eat enough afterwards to feel like I'll recover somewhat.

I then track my bodyweight every morning in a spreadsheet which I would link but I'm on my phone in bed right now. This spreadsheet feeds a graph that has a trendline so I can ignore the fluctuations and just watch that.

I also plan my diet meticulously so that I get supposedly the right macros and micros from my baseline diet.

I track everything in myfitnesspal and allow myself to eat out and eat whatever when I want and can afford to. But this leads me to have somedays where I take IIFYM to the extreme.

It isn't perfect and it may be overkill but it has given me good results. I did it before jnr nationals last year and even with a recently torn hip and in comp torn pec I managed to lose weight, gain muscle, and put almost 20kg on my total.

Got my test results back. 322 ng/dL testosterone. The lab says "nigga das too low," but I know that the bottom of the range is different depending on whom you ask.
Is it worth trying to get TRT? I am having symptoms of low test (low sex drive, low energy/mood, and so on), but I'm not sure they'll be willing to prescribe it if I'm not dramatically low (<200 ng/dL), especially considering that I'm in my early twenties.
I'm regretting only getting total tested right about now.

They're two very different lifts, what your definition of strength is will determine your perspective on this, but hypothetically if someone squats 400lb and leg presses 800lb their legs are equally strong regardless since the lifts are different. If you are asking which will make the legs stronger in the long run it will be leg presses because it only focuses on the legs and isn't limited by core strength, that doesn't mean that it will make you a better squatter necessarily though since the movement pattern is very different and it doesn't strengthen many muscles needed to squat.

Yeah, that looks completely fine. But probably you won't need 120h of recovery between bench volume and intensity. The point of the RD on a 3-day routine is that it allows for more than 48h of recovery between VD and ID. In your case, you are already having 72h between UVD and the RD, so you could skip RD entirely. Of course this is something that I can't predict will work over the internet and without any info on your training experience, diet, and etc, you will have to test it yourself and see how your body responds to the training.

But I'd suggest you start with something like:
A Bench Volume
B Squat Volume + Deadlift Volume

C Bench Intensity + Squat Intensity + Deadlift Variation (lighter)

I think this is what causes it.
Growing up you ate till you were full and then there was extra. There was no "eat a moderate amount" the food is there and you eat until you can't eat. That's how it is. So not eating until full can be uncomfortable for me because that's how I've always ate.
And I can understand that people that didn't grow up like that don't understand it.
It's a rough habit to break and we find our ways. Personally I keep myself busy with stuff so I don't eat constantly.
And I also plan what I'm going to buy before I buy it so I don't go in and wander and grab bad shit.

What are your lifts at? It's pretty normal to make progress if your just starting despite being in a deficit, or are you already experienced?

I cut from 5'7 245 to 5'9 170 in a year or so and did not start lifting until I hit the 185lb point. I could not make progress past like 150 squat and 205 deadlift, I just barely hit 1 pl8 bench, although I did start with the bar for everything except deadlift, which was like 105 lbs.

Now that I'm bulking though, I throw on 5-10 lbs each session to my lifts. I think I was too scared to progress mentally since I was on a deficit and now that I'm on a surplus, I have the confidence on top of the surplus to make progress.
