Squats. Heavy, work-so-hard-you-feel-your-abdominal-aorta, ass-to-grass, 3x5 squats. Do that for 3 months and you will have a better ass than 95% of women out there.
How do I tell if I have a nice ass? I'm a straight guy, so I really have no idea what kind of asses are nice from a grills perspective.

a males ass of the same apparent mass of female's actually has way more due to bone structure. A guy's ass on par with a female's in volume is usually way more plump and more aesthetic, that is it gives the illusion that it's bigger, bodybuilding is all about the illusion, but then again most female ass is about 75% fat. Just try to grab a skinfold of your ass and poke it flexed too. An above average ass skin fold should feel like when you pinch your leg or cheek, and should feel like solid rock under a bit of pillows. A world class ass should have skin as thin as your hand's/forearms and have just a lil striations, but nothing too IFBB nomsayin?
