too lazy breh. no weighing scale in the house, lazy to buy one, and the one at the gym costs money, but I never have coins on me. I know, probably the shittiest excuses you've heard. Probably do it soon tho.

I'm finally getting back to the gym and can bench 185 for 5 reps no problem, but I see guys smaller than me putting up 225. How long does it take to get there on average? I've always been bigger (6'3 200) and am decently strong, but never really followed a program before?

What's considered a "strong" benchpress?

depends who you ask. to the general public 2 plates is probably "strong." to people who actually lift it's probably more like 3 plates, and in a serious powerlifting gym it will be even higher.

Normie? Probably 2pl8
Gym goer? 3pl8.
PLer? 3.5+

I used to think I'd feel strong at 315 but the ride never ends
>>
I was 140kgs. Down to 120kgs. I feel no different and don't look much different. Should have taken photos. Still a lump of fat, just not a 140kg lump of fat. I've kind of fallen off the wagon eating a ton of fast food and energy drinks, but I've stayed even at 120 for a few weeks doing this, which I guess is an upside. Starting again hard tomorrow, so I will take some pics at 120 and see how we go.
>>
>>35394113

think I picked one up for $20 from KMart in aus. Pretty cheap.

sadly it doesn't come in well enough yet.
>>
>>35395654

how old are you? I was a late bloomer. Didn't even shave until final year of high school and even then was just bumfluff. Probably 21 was when I started growing a decent enough beard. Now it is pretty full on and I love it.
>>
>>35395677
22, only the dainty parts come in atm. stache, sideburns, goatee. None of the meat of a good beard though. I'm hoping i'll get more growth as I get closer to 30 but i'm not holding my breath
