I try and avoid bread as much as possible for two reasons. First of all I can't get real bread and live in a dorm and so can't bake. The stuff in stores is packed full of preservatives, salt sugar and soya - even the 'wholegrain' stuff which is only 65% wholegrain amyways.
Secondly it just isn't very nutritious or filling. I'd rather eat oats, beans, sweet and even white potatoes. The only positive of bread in my opinion are how convenient sandwiches are

My mum makes her own wholegrain bread. I usually have two slices with four eggs or peanut butter for breakfast, then don't eat it again throughout the day.
Big fan of pumpkin seed, walnut and cranberry at the moment.

Sourdough with whole wheat, spelt, rye, and oats, artisinal style with the crisp as fuck crust and nice chewy glossy open crumb.

I make my own whole wheat, rye and oats bread since I'm poor and is cheaper to make it than to buy it. I eat a couple slices each day and a loaf will last me for a week.
There's a ton of recipes out there.
