There's only a little more than a week left till my comp. Yep u read that right - I'm competing. I kept my preparation in secret, only a couple of people knew. It is understandable that to organise a tournament and compete in it - is an impossible task. What else is there to do if you want to bench? My form is of course far from ideal, but I wouldn't call it bad either. I will compete on Sunday the 22nd of November at the tournament held by SNPR.

The wilks program is meant for helping you improve your technique because you do submaximal work most of the training cycle to help you dial in your technique for 2 months before you get to the month of peaking

Nah I don't compete just turned 23 this year. I feel like I need to get my bench +200kg before competing. Also I live in far north, so I would have to drive 400km for closes powerlifting competition. Moving south next year though

Thing is. I couldn't really progress on TM anymore when I did that. I kept failing. Maybe it was something I did wrong maybe not. But at least this feels like it's working again.

I'm just gonna keep going until I don't progress anymore. Especially for my bench it feels better than TM so that's good. It was really lagging behind.

Big chance that once I start stalling I wont keep grinding but just change things around as I see fit. Maybe even just taper towards more intensity and start going for a meet again.

Heh. Pretty good, and quite scathing I think, but the tools they are using is post-irony for sure. Stop calling it simple though; even people who find a lot of post-irony funny are missing the point. They have slipped into just plain ol' Irony a few times (Zippy juice), but to take something as ridiculous as anti-black on white violence signs on the lawns of Yale, and turn it into a serious discussion through humour, that is textbook-wikipedia-definition of Post Irony.

Maybe I shouldn't have implied it was a bad thing; what I meant is that I can't see them taking it much further as a source of humour - I really see post irony as a fashion that will dry up in the next ten years or so. Hopefully he can move on to another medium.
