I've got a white/grey sib. He's pretty chill for his breed, he's still playful and energetic but he isn't violent, I've never seen him even bark at strangers, he's very attached to me, and he's a surprisingly good running partner.
I also never see people with these even though they're a really well known and sought after breed since breeders in my country are pretty much non existent.
As a result I get approached a lot because of him and he's actually made me a few friends. I think he's actually better at interacting with people than I am.

No, my family has a golden retriever and she sheds like crazy. She's a beautiful dog but I wouldn't consider her fashionable. Our last retriever was slender and came from a show family. Our current retriever is bred bigger, for hunting, apparently.

The problem is that people pick them up all the time and condone behavior which would not be allowed if it were to be a bigger dog like jumping on people.
Because of this small dogs are a lot more "confident", dominant and territorial

Well, mine is the ultimate pussy, but he's lovable. He'll bark at birds but won't chase them cause he's afraid of them. Also, he has never bitten anyone, outside of playing with him as a puppy. They do have a lot of energy though

Well I don't want to be annoying or something but it's a very territorial type of dog, higher chance of making a fuss about defending against other dogs, animals stuff like that. Like chasing mice and stuff in the garden. Mine is very sweet and super loveable with family and people he knows, and won't do anything to strangers in the home or at walks at all. But don't let him catch a stranger or strange animal touching his bed, cause he'll rip him a new one.
