This is all really my opinion plus some exaggeration. Really getting into Rick is more like joining a cult. Just like a religion its loved and hated. But often people find something they can resonate with either with his clothes or with Rick himself. Theres something very admirable to see someone like Rick, who is a complete outsider (an american from some place in california) become successful in Paris among huge fashion houses like LV, Gucci, and Chanel. Rick Owens clothes have a very rebellious nature to them but without the angst and immaturity. If you listen to his interviews he's very positive, grounded, and articulate in what he's after. I won't justify the price by saying the quality of his clothes make up for it but money (I'm paraphrasing here) allows him to enjoy his life and make his vision a reality. This is all just my opinion and why I like Rick Owens.

I visited the Miami store again; got to try on some basic preco stuff for Mastodon. Even made friends with one of the sales associates after shooting the shit for a while. Unfortunately, since it's a transition period they didn't really have anything interesting left from Cyclops and they weren't allowed to sell their new stock yet.
Interesting things:
Mastodon has a new Teal color for DL tees, tanks, level tees, etc. I like it honestly and it's apparently been selling well.
The sales associate said it's highly likely men's versions of the Mastodon Tech Runner Socks will come out eventually (FW 17 maybe?).
Memphis jeans are pretty uncomfortable.
Also Geobaskets kinda fit TTS for me. Maybe I could have sized down 0.5 but I didn't feel like I had to. High Ramones fit pretty TTS. Tried both pairs on in size 42 and I'm a size 9/9.5 normally.
