Grailed, and also save your money. Just wait for sales and then buy slowly and only when you know you want something 100% and it's at a good price. You can serious get really good jeans from Grailed for dirt cheap compared to their retail price.

Otherwise, just go thrifting and have fun doing that. Don't settle for anything unless it fits perfect and looks great

I know of a few but they're mostly just Korean websites, and the ones that ship international only sell girls clothes (that is, Mixxmix and a-in.kr)

>>
>>11380365
It being reverse weave fabric? It's kind of their signature product, so I assume so

That roughness you're describing is probably more related to your heavy hand when washing sweats than the actual fabric. Cold water, gentle cycle, laundress or trader Joe's or Method detergent, tumble dry low
My Camber shirts weren't pre washed or treated with any kind of chemical softener and it has taken a year to soften them, but that's not entirely related....just the only clothes I own that were rough even new with tags

What am I supposed to wear to a "celebration of life"? They're not calling it a funeral and it's outdoors in the middle of the day so I guess I'm not supposed to wear a black suit. Hey guys. I'm going to a wedding at the end of July and I don't know what to wear. The problem is that the groom and his friends consider a blazer to be really really formal, that's what's screwing me up. I don't want to show up the groom. I can't really see any of the groom's friends wearing a suit. His social circle (and family for that matter) isn't very formal when it comes to these kinds of events. So I guess that means that I should ditch the blazer.. right?

So do I just wear a blue dress shirt, grey dress pants, belt, and some Oxford shoes? It sounds like that's dressing too down.

Thank you in advance.
>>
>>11384358

I have muscular legs from playing hockey and most jeans don't fit me too well imo, I was wondering if there were any pants that were larger around the thighs and tapered down as they got closer to the ankle other than joggers or cargo pants, or if I should just try to lose some muscle mass or tailor my own pants to fit well

I don't want to go out and purchase an entire wardrobe of meme lumberjack stuff but I want to investigate it a little. Thanks for alerting me to the existence of denimbro; is there any other reading material I should look at (keeping in mind that anything whatsoever is exciting new information for me)?

I'm looking for a tiffany and co watch that I saw today. Sorry, but I can only give a kind of vague description
I know that it's pretty minimal, I think maaaaaaaaaybe Roman numerals, a cobalt crown, gold, the guy said he got it like 20 years ago.
Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks <3

I have a really bad question for all you..
How are clothes suppose to fit? It's doesn't seem to say it in the wiki, I understand silhouette, but i'm a bit confused on how how shits suppose to fit.
>>
>>11395934
This is such a broad question. What in particular are you wondering about?
>>
>>11395934
Are you thin? If so you should always go for tight fits.

If you're fat then don't worry about fits nothing will look one a fatty.
>>
>>11395934
All depends, are you going for straight fit, oversized, slim??
Runway stuff can be good for this
>>
>>11395934
wow any/all clothing? from the top of my head, feel free to criticize

shoulder seam on tshirt shit hit at the end of shoulder, arms/torso/waist depending on style of shirt, length depending on style but usually slightly lower than hipbones

pants usually look best tapered, high rise is nicer lately. skinny is usually a good choice, if fat try tapered alternatives.

sweaters/sweatshirts follow the same rules as tshirts

suits have infographics

shoes should be proportionally okay

pairing high tops with shorts usually results in shorter legs

etc etc

Ok thank you kind sir. kinda of a broad question, I know. But i'm justa newfag trying to get along.
>>
>>11395998
try lurking and deciding from there on what style of clothing fits you
if you're lucky you might pick one style and like it most, cherish it and go on from there
if you're like me anything goes as long as it is done well, which is the most expensive way of fashion
>>
>>11396017
Jus another quick question, i'm kinda manlet level, so would i want to wear slim shit?
>>
>>11396111
Unless you're going for a looser fit style, slim fit is generally always ideal.

>>
>>11393057
first off, Common Projects are just plain white sneakers, basics. they will not go out of fashion in a long time.
They have a stylish silhouette and design, but most of all you are paying for the quality with them.
/fa/ is pretty much primarily about streetwear, so I'd advise just to lurk here and try to seek out stuff that doesn't seem weird or tryhardy.
to start with:
tops: T-Shirts, hoodies, sweaters, casual shirts (OCBDs can be worn casually too)
bottoms: chinos in neutral colors, jeans. very casual fits can have joggers and sweatpants
shoes: sneakers
just remember that even if you dress in basics, you will look good (not out of place, good) if your clothes fit you and the colors match.
though with streetwear you should refrain from doing autistic #menswear-style hue matching
that easily makes you look dressy which is opposite of what you are requesting
instead you could try colors of different saturation and add different hues to accent.
>>
>>11396279
>>11393057
also, now that I read that you are in your late 30s, I think you should try to carefully downshift from smart casual.
try out more casual fits with shirts, jeans and sneakers, but you shouldn't need to dress as casually as the younger people. as in, be more conservative and neutral with them.
>>
>>11395415
they go on sale a lot
>>
What kind of hats/caps are good for people with large heads? Most of the stuff I try on just looks retardedly small on me.
>>
>>11396313
Not him, but can you elaborate on
> autistic #menswear-style hue matching
I always try to wear similar hues (grey, dark blue, black) , (earth tones with lightwash jeans and white etc)
>>
w2c good quality joggers/sweatpants?
how are uniqlo sweatpants
>>
>>11396399
tired so I'm not going to dig up any examples, but in those kinds of fits you usually have triadic or split complementary matches of different hues between the shirt, trousers and belt/shoes.

>>
So I really want to cop this shirt, but I can't find any in my size. I'm really desperate and have no idea when I'd ever find any in a size small.

If I ordered a size bigger (M) than I usually wear and got it tailored, would that fuck up the pattern of the shirt?

I'd need to get the sides and back taken in, sleeves slimmed and probably the whole thing shortened.
>>
>>11396511
pattern doesn't look as if it's following any structure or anything I don't think taking away some fabric would differ from the original piece much
>>
>>11396518
Thanks for the reply. I'm thinking if there's a really obvious break, I could try to keep it symmetrical (e.g., running down the middle of the back) and it might look interesting in its own way.

Has anyone tried ironing Uniqlo HEATTECH fabrics? I picked up a few tees and they're creased to shit. Tag says not to iron and they're made out of a shitty synthetic blend.
>>
>>11396580
yes, but not like they are in pic. The best ones I've seen are linen mandarin collared shirts, usually in a solid color. The way the contrast on that collar looks really fucks with the fit. It looks tiny and insignificant, leading to a jarring detail

Should I wear a belt with jeans?
>>
>>11397313
Yes unless you're going for poverty-core or crust or whatever.

Wearing pants with beltloops without a belt makes it look like you don't have a belt to wear. That said you're better off wearing no belt that a dress belt with casual pants or a casual belt with dress pants.
