I would definitely size down from there. My toes are about an inch closer to the end of my Ramones and I still have a comfortable amount of room to wiggle them. If you lace those up with that fit, they'll probably end up kinda scrunching around the bottom of the lace placket. And if you don't lace them, they'll end up with major heel drag from being too loose.

New stuff arrived! I thought I wouldn't like ice with dark dust but I think it's my new favorite combo. It's interesting to me that both of these pieces are listed as ice, both 100% cotton, and both from the same season - yet have very different shades.
Level tee is my first non-double unstable cotton piece but it's hemmed at the bottom so the stacking is a little trickier to get right. I'm considering cutting off the bottom hem but also kinda hesitant to take scissors to my Rick.

I understand that layering at its core is just the act of having one thing on top of another thing, but that pic is just silly. Layering well in fashion implies several layers that supplement or compliment each other, not just a tee shirt poking out from under a sweatshirt.

I think that Ramones work with a lot of more "normal" stuff, but the prisoners are harder to style with stuff that doesn't fit the Rick aesthetic. I'd say put a heel tap on it. It'd be cheaper, easier to do, and very easy to replace. My local cobbler does it for $6 a pair. Would help you preserve the bumper since most the wear is generally going to be just there.
I don't think resoling looks that good anyway since it fucks with the shark teeth, but there's that one Japanese place that does a phenomenal job of resoling to look very close to original for like $300.
Hopefully if you put taps in place (would've been better before wear reached the bumper but too late now) you can just replace the taps and never have to resole so long as you don't drag your feet and do crazy ninja tricks in your memes

I have an ancient gimp with the old RY zipper, its very boring and I don't wear it anymore. Probably would've sold it already if it didn't have some holes in it and has faded to a dark grey now.
