I got the Manchester's and they're pretty good
>>
popular now but not sturdy enough for me

>>11087732
is the heel cup good?
>>
>>11087662
5/10 look good but canvas rips quickly and very uncomfortable, recommend the Cons for better comfort and durability
>>11087678
Those Sb's are nasty i'd recommend the new Kennedy's or some blazers
>>11087683
ugly as fuck but comfortable, not effay
>>11087724
look good with the right fits, very comfortable shoe but a bit heavy personally
>>11087756
these are sturdy but overworn, very uncomfortable imo but i like the padding

Personally wearing vans slip ons, old skools, classics, huf classic lo's, dunno what to cop for my next shoe desu, might get some new balance but desu really liking the classics atm, look so nice with dickies or trackies. sick of converse desu, kinda dead in europe.

I think Tom Knox skates in these
>>
>>11087756

Just bought this, but in a different variant. Pic related, imho looks pretty cool and not as played out.

I find them pretty sturdy. Almost too much. The heel part is pretty rigid and looks like it will take a while to break those in.

ive tried hufs, they are fucking horrible. honestly, one of the worst shoes ive skated in
they look cool and interesting but irl they look like clown shoes
and have the worst soles and no flex in the toe.
if you cant tell, i wouldnt recommend

Personal favorite i've ever skated:
Emerica G-CODEs
You can still get them on Ebay for ~30 dollars, dead stock.
Hands down best shoe. They don't look that bad from a fashion perspective, i suppose.
The new Herman G6s/Vulc are ok, i guess, not as good though.
I don't like the new Emerica tread pattern where its a bunch of triangles, i think it doesn't grip for shit.

Current:
ES Accelerate is great for skating, might look stupid otherwise. Looks like a "skate shoe". Very durable.
New Balance 212s are good "Pro Court"
I've never skated Nikes but people say the BAs are good.
I like to skate generic Reeboks.... The "club" i think its called. You can pick them up at Ross/Marshalls cheap. They work fine & you're not supporting Nike.

Past:
ES First Blood used to be amazing
Converse Pappalardos were amazing
Gravis Slymz used to be great (also that hightop they had.. forget the name)
Ipath Cats!!!! (pic related)

Vans Sk8-Hi is my favorite hightop.
Make sure you put the Ultracush insole in, or pay the price with your feet.
Get the ones with "duracap"
The "Rapidweld" ones are very durable but have zero flex and can be hard to skate

Interesting in a fashion perspective:
Supra Cuba. There are some interesting colorways
Leo 2s. They look better than you'd think
Huf Dylan 2s. I'm sure there is a non skate company that makes the same thing if the price is too much for you

>>11087683

Unfortunately the quality of them can be super shit. Sometimes its good, sometimes its terrible. I used to like them alot back in 2009 but i wouldn't buy them now. To each their own though

These are as good a you're going to get. Great fit, nice soles, and lasts for years.
>>
>>11087724
Only with baggy pants. Basically dress like Busenitz and they'll look brilliant. They skate pretty okay, a lot of protection and pretty good board control but they could allow a bit more movement. Kind of heavy.
>>
>>11088783
Dat court graphic
10/10
Been skating these for years, can recommend.
>>
>>11087724
busenitz vulc are even better because theyre so much lighter
>>
I am currently skating Old Skools with backup high top chucks (unfortunately not the skate chucks w/ lunarlon). I actually really like both though. However, the Old Skools' toe box doesn't squeeze my toes like the chucks do.

ski 8s or old skools?

/esg/ here as well, I would like to remind, given this opportunity, that ifyou skate you should putdown a brief review in the pastebin.

Also, the anon who MADE the pastebins is invited to update them if they still lurk.

Wearing this rn

Very comfy and almost zero damage after a week of skating. The bumper feels weird at first
>>
>>11088109
its obviously a joke and chachi is flexxxxin hard as fuck
>>
>>11088078
Worth every penny if you asked me. They are definitly more functional than Converse too. Ive had mine for a year and a half and the sole still has yet to get thin enough to hurt my feet. The only problem is that P.F. NEVER restocks their shoes. Once your size is sold out, its gone for good

>>
Is it poseuristic to wear skate shoes but doesn't even skate ? I want to buy some just because it's durable and comfy.
>>
>>11091342
same desu, but I think the answer is yes out of vans, converse...
>>
>>11091342
yes if it's a "skate-only" company, like emerica, lakai or supra.
no if it's a more streetwear company like vans, converse and some huf, nike and adidas.

Get some black old skools senpai, they're making a big comeback. Get on the train before they end up at Superstars status in a few months.
>>
>>11091566
in my city they're already back
i was standing at an intersection and thought about them and immediately noticed 2 pairs
tomorrow i'm going to see how many i can count in one day. i'll post if the thread is still up/ if i remember
>>
>>11091571
Yeah they're pretty big in Manchester too. Only gonna get bigger because Vans seem to be going aggressive on the advertising.
Haven't seen them advertised in years and now they're on every billboard going.
>>
>>11091566
This trend of wearing your pants too short looks genuinely autistic.
>>
>>11091566
>black old skools
old skools have been back in style for over 2 years? At least in Houston or maybe I'm confused?
>>
should i get all white old skools or the classic black/white?
>>
>>11091566
It's funny, in my city vans are on there way out and adidas is on it's way in.
