OP, as someone who lives in Sweden, I can tell you that it's almost exclusively girls who have the Kången (forrest green seems to be a favourite colour). I've seen very few men with it, and even fewer make it look good. But hey, that shouldn't matter, if it looks good to you, it looks good, so you should just go for it. Fjällräven makes quality products, and the Kånken has been a staple backpack here since the 20's.
