Looks veeeeery MFA-core to me. I don't think that jeans and the suit jacket should meet, ever. If you want to do semi-formal, ditch the jacket for a nice sweater and maybe grab different pants that aren't jeans. You look mismatched at the moment imo.

The pants seem a little slim on you, but that could be what you're going for. I think the suit jacket is kinda ill-fitting, the sleeves seem too short and the the shoulders look a little puffy. Also, check the fit around the neck- the dress shirt and suit jacket should be touching, no space in between. The angle isn't great for seeing this, but I think there might be some space?
Also, personal preference, I dislike the beard. Needs more in the cheeks, or the whole mustache looks awkward.

Looks good from waist up or down, but they don't combine well. If you were to choose the bottom, i would've gone with more masculine and top-heavy style. something like a shawl-collar knit would've added volume to the neck area. Somewhat creamy color would work well with those jeans and the undershirt.
That top could be paired with a fairly light pair of jeans, think stonewash. tapered fit with some room on top and a pair of low-top shoes to match the flow of the sweater.
