Post winter coat fits, inspo, recommendations w/e.
I've been looking for a new coat for ruthless North European winters. My price range is at around 200-300 euros and I'm expecting it to last quite a while (4-5 years). Where should I look for quality coats? I'm not really a fan of synthetic fibers but if the mix has a good amount of wool (80% or so) it should be good right? I've been thinking about Gloverall - does anyone have experience with them? I'm mostly worried about their fits as I'm fairly thin: 6.0ft at ~150 pounds and it seems like (at glance) that their main audience is fat middle aged men.
Help me family.

This is the car coat I was thinking of copping. Although I might go with a duffle coat.

Not op but this is the info I got. Can't find the grey one on the site
So I'm new to /fa/, and poorfag. A relative offered to buy me a coat a while back, and I accepted not thinking. They took me to JCPenny's and I ended up picking the only decent-looking pea coat there so that I didn't upset them. I regret this; it's way too wide in the shoulder and doesn't fit me very well. Should I take it back and get a smaller size, or just go to a new store? Sorry for being pleb.

Just to be clear, I know that JC Penny's is a bad place to shop for clothes; that's why I was embarassed.
>>10730650
me too anon go for it
>>10731855
Yes, how it fits is everything, not where you buy. Take it back and find one that fits better. Goodluck fellow poorfag.
W2C Maxons jacket
OP here,
Surprised to see the thread still up. I ended up ordering this Hilfiger coat, and yes, I know I'm partially paying for the name but the coat meets the 80% wool requirement I was looking for and while I've never had their coats before I expect the cut fits my skinny fuccboi form.
>>10729833
Sadly they didn't have my size but I'll keep the name of the brand in mind if I end up returning the one I ordered.

Armani?
What do you think about this one, /fa/?
>>10730650
I feel something like that would only look good if the rest of your outfit is clean. Kinda like that model. The moment you have an edgy haircut, or some flamboyant shoes, then the whole fit is ruined and you look like some attention seeking faggot.

Link to jacket?

I got pic related last week.

It actually keeps me warm and dry while looking nice, so it has practical function along with looking nice.
Two complaints:
- as a 5'7" 155lb manlet, even the small size is a bit too big on me around the chest and stomach.
- The zipper can be a pain to zip up sometimes. This might be where they cut costs.

>>10733074
this looks so nice ...but so expensive :'(
Just found it on Grailed for $650
>>10731967
Thanks. I might post pictures later, I'm wearing it again and I'm not sure if it's just that my shoulders are wider than I thought or what.
Anybody here own a Barbour Beaufort? Heard it's good value.
What about the Liddesdale?

i have a fw 2014 rock coat and a fw 2011 merino. both fantastic, love them dearly.
i also have a bless hood coat.
most of my wardrobe is coats. i love coats :3
>>10730650
I'd wear it day n nite if I had the monies, with anything really.
Fuck the haters.
I'm poor
is there somewhere I can get a grey peacoat or winter coat for like $40?
i'm a tall chick, i want something like crotch length I think
>>10732892
That's like pretty much any overcoat. 90% of the time it looks really goofy to see some kid wearing an overcoat with sneakers and a beanie.
>>10733823
Honestly I think you should wait
Maybe wear your regular coat and layer more
>>10734117
i dont have any coats. i live in so. cal, i just have hoodies, sweaters and windbreakers.
i was using an old coat that i found in my closet (it was my moms, or a cousins or something, i don tknow) but that doesn't fit well, and it seems to have disappeared.
i've been layering.
If i'm waiting, when should i be looking to buy, and from where?
