OP here, personally I'm not a big fan of septum piercings some people pull it off but its not for me. I've been thinking about getting a normal hoop for a while. Thoughts?

Listen OP, i've had both septum and nosering when i was a young tool (i.e 13-14). Having metal in your face will most likley discredit your already shitty self. So if you want too look worse, have metal in your nose that gets cold as shit unless you get wood or some shit then do it. But rather dont. But if you do, the key to septum is that the ring should be atlest 2.4mm in diameter. 1.2 and 1.6 that is the standard width of a needle makes it look way too thin and feminine/Gaythrobbingly enthuiastic

I had my right nostril pierced from ages 18-22, back in the early 2000s. I dressed like a Strokes reject so it worked. Everyday people look at you kind of different for sure, but it also got me laid. I kind of want to do it again, but a skinny, balding 30 year old with a shitty beard but a killer mustache would look... Eh I don't know.

I dont think they do so much, it depends what youre doing but most places allow long hair and earrings so as long as you havent got your nostrils stretched like some people then it shouldnt be a problem. Unless of course youre in an ultra conservative environment, in which case you should get out because you have to wear suits all the time and cant show off your sik fitz to upper middle class white womenz

Use a clear stud for the first 6 weeks, which will help keep professionalism. Then you can interchange it for the nose ring on weekends and nights you leave the house. Also you shouldn't be going straight into a nose ring as it gets easily infected.
