How do I clean a matress without fucking it up?

Dip it in a swimming pool. The chlorine and bromine will get rid of all the nasties.

Use a crane
Depending on the level and type of grot. Take outside in the sun, stand vertically.
Apply cleaner :
Spray bleach if nasty
Degreaser if smelly
Pool acid if urine
Leave for 2-5 mins. Brush with a broom, leave another 2-5.
Hose from top to bottom, ensure all chemical and grot is hosed away. Dont use a pressure washer or the material will go to shit.
Leave in sun to dry. Cover at night - will take 2 or so days to dry properly
Label three pigs "1" "2" and "4" and let them loose.
