Not them, but I guess what I'd do is say that you now have to be the underling of one of the existing slaves in addition to my slave, at least until you've proven you're as worthy as the others.
That way you'd get attention from whichever slave I decided to reward, but it would appear that I was rewarding one of the obedient slaves, rather than you so the other slaves would still be incentivised.

There are several scenarios I have in mind, actually.They are a little long to explain so sorry in advance, but I really want to explain exactly how they play. Some of them:
1. In a medieval universe. I'm a young beggar who got caught trying to steal food because I was very hungry. I am to be put in the pillory for two days and sent to prison for two years after that. While I'm in the pillory, facing the crowd, a sign hanging around my neck with "Thief" written on it, a rich young lady of noble blood come see me and asks me why I'm here. I explain the circumstances to her and she continues talking and asking me questions. She is very polite and respectful, and I'm intimidated and confused. She then explains that she can make arrangements with the guards and instead of two years in prison, I can spend three months as her personal maid in her family's manor. She tells me that it is less harsh of a punishment for trying to survive and it will teach me the value of hard work. But I still have to spend two days in the pillory. I accept, and after two days of being insulted and having rotten fruits thrown at me, the guards take me to her home. Here, the work is long but I work hard to not disappoint her. She teaches me to open up and about love, and I actually like being at her service, even if I am still more or less a prisoner.

Depends a lot on setting.
Fantasy - For fantasy worlds I like most slaves being spoils of war, or otherwise forcefully captured. It's particularly delicious to picture women of power (royal, priestess, etc.) being taken and sold at market, or kept as a trophy by their conqueror. Being forced to adjust to their new position in life.
Modern - I have a hard time imaging a world anything like ours accepting legal sex slavery, unless it has at least a thin veneer of being consensual. So basically sexual indentured servitude. A binding contract in which someone sells themselves to a particular owner for set period of time. The payment is put in an escrow account, available to the servant upon complication of the contract.
Sci-fi - Slaves could be artificial beings created to be used. Life-like robots, or even artificial organics (like replicants or Cylon "skin jobs"). They're fully sentient, but designed to be deeply submissive. Few people see anything wrong with owning them because they have no desire to be free.

And in regards to people with a fantasy to being sold. One thing you should remember, if you are doing this in a vaguely contemporary setting is that your healthy body is probably worth a lot more in pieces at retail value. Even without being slaughtered in a organ farm, pieces of liver, bone marrow, one of the paired internal organs, hair, skin etc could be harvested and still let a person live to serve various tasks.
Then there is the very simple fact that even if you cost somewhere around a few tens of thousand to a few hundred thousand dollars if put in a brothel the investment in the slave would be recuperated in around +/- a year discounting food, housing and maintenance.
Slaves would of course drop the cost of transnational sex if prostitution is legal, once they totally drive free prostitutes out of business.
So if you are not bought to be a live in maid and fucktoy to someone, but are bought as a financial investment, well, your body will be actually treated like industrial livestock for exploitation, either for parts or use.
Just some things to consider. You would need some very protective legal framework, one that is extremely effective at squashing illegal slavery and illegal use/exploitation of slaves and the enforcement arm to actually ensure said code is followed and transgressors are swiftly dissuaded.
Else every time you are up for auction you have a good chance of eventual death (or immediate death in case you are bought for spare parts or by a cannibal), industrial exploitation of your body or getting used as a living appliance by a master who might enact some of your fantasies or again might treat you as a roomba-cum-fleshlight.
Anyway, those are some of my issues with people with a fantasy to be auctioned, or sold to someone who can resell you. Major direct risks.

You can't move a file while in use, and Souls are by nature in use at all times. I've actually had an interesting slavery story idea if anyone was interested.
Immortality, and with it eternal youth, have been sought after by many for centuries. But it's sudden arrival came at the most unexpected of costs.
Not in the making of the serum that removed the cellular protein limiters of the human body, which also enhanced normal healing to the point where even amputated limbs could regrow with enough time. Nor in the almost monopolized use by the rich and powerful, even though the serum was amazingly cheap in it's production. It wasn't even in the fact that those who took the serum became sterile and became more and more beautiful with each passing day!
The cost... ended up being the freedom and rights of the user. A few years after the serum entered circulation a famous, beautiful starlet was kidnapped and help captive for years.
When she was finally rescued and the kidnappers put on trial, it was revealed that she had been given the immortality serum as a point in the defense's case. So followed the narrative, the truest injury in a person's captivity is the time they are forced to spend with their captors against their will... but SHE as an immortal would always have more time!
Any other time this would be laughed out of the courtroom... but the fear of death in the general population had grown into a seething hatred of those who had the ultimate treasure and refused to share it.
The kidnappers ultimately went free, and in time a new equation entered the hearts and minds of the world's people... immortals *weren't* people anymore. People DIE.
And since they weren't people anymore, they had no rights. Hundreds were captured before they could use their resources to escape into hiding.
Decades have passed, the immortal slave trade is alive and thriving, even though use of the serum is outlawed. But, if no one can prove you were infused against your will...well...

Working on a twine game in which you enter an Empire who has mostly eliminated prisons in favor of a slavery/fine system. If you are detained for breaking the law, a magistrate judges your case and determines your monetary fine to the empire.
If you can pay you go free. If you can't or come up short, you are enslaved.
For minor fines you're forced to work for the empire and pay your debt (usually manual labor).
For major fines you are put up for auction. If the price you fetch pays your fine, you have to repay your master and are freed as soon as that debt is paid. If your sale does not cover your fine you owe both the master and state.
The only crime exempt from this is murder. Murderers are enslaved to the state, and their fates decided case by case. Gladiatorial candidates are sent to the arena.
