Let's start this with a discussion question continuing on from the last thread. What kinds of latex clothing do you like? Do you prefer regular "street clothes" made out of latex? Are catsuits and dedicated fetish clothes more of your thing? Or maybe you just fall in love with anything made of this great material?
Myself, I think it's the best when it's made into designs I already like, even when not made of latex. Sailor fukus, cheongsams, kimonos, etc. They're already good to begin with, but when you make them out of latex, the slick, glossy sheen just makes them so amazing.
When it comes to catsuits, I find them best when worn underneath other pieces of clothing (especially other latex clothing.)

That being said, I've never tried on latex, nor have I ever honestly even seen it in real life, but the gloss and artificial look keeps me extremely interested in it. From catsuits to intricate dress designs and fantasies of large billowing ballgowns made out of latex, I am obsessed with the thought of being dressed into it. While catsuits are the common thing, and I would like to try one on too at some point, it has never been my focus. I yearn for things such as a latex schoolgirl uniform, latex ballerina outfit, latex princess dresses, or even a slutty leopard print latex minidress. All kinds of designs and styles made in latex, an entire wardrobe filled with just latex options to spice up my life.
I'm also a big fan of mixing latex with normal clothing, as the OP picture suggests. I've designed tens of outfits that either take latex and make something that's not usually made of latex into a glossy bliss to wear, or mixed outfits with satin, silk and latex meshed and fitted together to make a masterpiece of seduction. Alas, I'm only able to draw, and never experience.
I'm not really even into the thought of buying latex on my own, as I'm into femdom and actually being dressed by someone else and all that, but as said before, a man can dream. Maybe one day I could be someones doll to play with.

I have to agree with OP here, latex versions of designs like sailor uniforms or eastern-style maids are awesome and it's a shame not a lot of latex clothing companies make these. I actually own a lolita-inspired maid dress from Catfish and I haven't seen anything like it from other designers (other than customs like FEMM's stage outfits. Those are sweet).

Skin tight latex clothes are definitely great, but there's such an untapped market for loose-fitting, frilly latex. You know the skirt on FEMM's maid outfit? There needs to be more stuff like that. With the Chinese stuff, quality is a total crap shoot ranging from pretty much literal garbage (complete with toxic chemicals) to just OK. If you get something that's OK, then it might be a good choice if it's cheap, to use as like a "practice" catsuit that you don't mind if it doesn't last too long. You never really know what the quality's gonna be like until you buy it though.

Tolerable, if you have the room cooled down. The issue with sleeping in latex is, as other anons have said, that it doesn't breathe, which traps in moisture and heat. If you can find a way to keep your temperature comfortably regulated throughout the night, it's pleasant as all hell.

They seem to be decent. Not quite as good as the other well-known brands, but not bad either. Probably the best bang-for-buck option.
The key here is that it's not Chinese latex from eBay (i.e., they actually have a company name they care about, not just some random guy selling whatever shit he can throw together and get a new account whenever there's a bad review) so they have to at least do a decent job of not poisoning their customers.
I haven't dealt with them personally, but I've tried to gather as much info as possible. I can't comment much on the quality of the material (other people say it's decent), but the only minor complaint I'd have with them is that the designs aren't... "optimized" for appearance/strength, I guess. They seem to have a lot of unnecessary glued seams, which makes manufacturing cheaper and easier and leaves less scraps, but seams also tend to be weak points, and it just looks so much better when it's a perfectly smooth surface instead of a bunch of little bumps where pieces have been glued together.

As someone who has attempted this multiple times and never quite made it I can say it's definitely a trick to get -everything- right for sleeping. Literally any discomfort in any of your toys will get magnified about a hundred times over after a couple hours. Case in point: I have some gloves that are just a little on the tight side. After two hours in bed though it feels like my hand is going to fall off.
The other thing you need to worry about is sweat control. You are going to sweat and if you aren't really careful that sweat will leak out of your catsuit and make a mess that is no good for sleeping in.

Having been painted in liquid latex, and seen it used on others, I can say you are mistaken. First of all, it's always recommended to go three coats. Second of all, liquid latex can be applied via airbrush, no brushstrokes to be seen or to create thin/weak spots. Properly applied liquid latex is a literal second skin. Yes, it's as awesome as you think. BUT, you NEED and let me stress this again, NEED to use a polish on the final layer after it's dried. If you don't it'll stick to itself as soon as any two parts of your body come in contact with eachother, then it'll tear/separate from your skin, and you will not have a good time. Also, removal of all body hair prior to application of liquid latex is a requirement. If you don't take it off, the latex WILL when it comes off. You can use lotions before application to help the removal process along, but I prefer to do it dry and let it stick as long as possible. Working up a sweat underneath it will make it sluff off faster than anything else, so if you're going to wear it, try to keep cool to extend wear time. Also, the stuff is great for special effects and just plain artsy types. You can become a living mural which can be wonderfully intimate and fun. As always, with any product you're going to have in direct contact with your body, you should always test a small patch for a while first, to make sure you don't have any reaction to the latex or any of its ingredients.

I actually really like the work that LDM does, but he's so busy with his own stuff that I haven't even considered him for any cooperative work. Generally speaking, I like people who have a good sense of form and function for bondage gear and draw more detailed versions of rubber outfits.
Argrim's stuff was always overly simplistic and lacking in any sort of detail. He's definitely changed over the years, but my initial run ins with him soured me on working with him. I'd much rather try to get WossaRem or LOZ on board.

I can't tell you about bedding, but I have slept in my catsuit a number of times. It's a total enclosure design, only has nose holes and a small mouth hole. The trick is the temperature. Too warm and you're swimming in sweat. Too cool and you're cold and can't sleep. I imagine, given they don't breathe, that bedding would be the same. Of course, with bedding you'd also be able to stick a foot or two out for temperature adjustment/comfort, so it might be easier. In the catsuit the comfortable temperature range is a very narrow band (at least for me anyway).
If you're wondering what the emotional/psychological impact is; I imagine that varies from person to person. I also imagine a lot of folks would have to learn to get past their arousal to calm down enough to sleep. Acid speeds it up. I tried chlorating some latex this way, and the results were so-so. I had trouble keeping things submerged.
It feels like the smooth latex is gripping you from every direction. When you move, the whole suit slides over you. Raising an arm or spreading your legs makes an air vacuum, sucking the latex against your skin. I like to get zipperless suits to add to this effect. You will sweat a lot and not cool down compared to short sleeved suits. For this reason, I will wear a shorty if it's going to be hot, or I will be wearing it a long time. If it's cold, you'll be cold as well. Layer up with neoprene or something warm.
Lots of silicone lube is your friend, just try to keep it contained, and use tons of dish soap to remove it from anything you get it on. I find boots to catch and dripping lube and sweat are a convenient addition.
