Pressing SHIFT at the right time gets less HP damage at the cost of stamina. If you hold shift you keep draining stamina, so you pretty much have to DDR that shit to minimize stamina loss.

Gameplay-wise, the normal walk speed is definitely slow but manageable. The idea that using stamina to dash and reduce damage works fine by me, plus you can always get more equipment to increase your stamina and health which increases how long you can spring so it definitely stops being an annoyance.
Speaking of The dash button I learned it's either C or Shift and for a long time I thought it was just shift and that was annoying. considering the damn sticky keys.

Obviously this indicates that the guys still outnumber the girls by a reasonable fraction, but it's "only" 1 in 4. The community frequently moans that the fraction seems more like 1 in 100 or something, but this is just doesn't seem to be the case. It just seems like the ladies typically aren't as outspoken, or we all just assume that random-username-1001 is male automatically.
