One thing I did notice in the options...I actually was assuming the Zero Suit didn't exist yet. She'd have regular clothes that would turn into it, since the idea is this is circa Prime 1 Samus, and let's face it, the Zero Suit is pretty impractical and sexualized already.

From what we've seen of Samus in the non-Other M games, I always got the impression that Samus wouldn't break down from a forcible transformation. Not immediately, anyways: She's nearly been turned into a sack of goo, been turned into a Metroid-Human hybrid, shrugged off radioactive goo corruption, has been a hybrid infused with Chozo blood since early childhood, etcetera. You're reading way too much into that largely figurative sentence. I get that you want to jack off to it but let's be realistic. It's C movie level science and pretty ridiculous that just giving her cells that immunize her to the X-parasite and attack them also makes her a transparent jelly with huge mandibles and it's never, ever actually called attention to by the narrative.
