For a story written without revisions I'd say the results are satisfactory; although I have to admit it took me a moment to adjust my expectations. You touched upon some really good ideas and the details you used to describe them were enough to create a clear enough mental picture.
So yeah, with all that said, here's the part where I get really nitpicky because I'm a big gaping asshole and that's what I do. First off, grammar. An ellipsis is three dots, not two. Do not use them after a question mark or any other form of punctuation. While quoting, unless the character is trailing off or has his/her train of thought suddenly interrupted, do not use them. Never have quotes from two characters in the same paragraph, it gets confusing. While we're on the subject of quotes, if you have a clause or sentence preceding it and you want to connect them, please use a comma to indicate this relationship. Using "ya" instead of "you" is rather off-putting, and I understand if you feel the need to make that colloquialism a part of your writing style, but I have to say it doesn't really add to the story in any appreciable sense.
