You, still lost in lala land, began dreaming of a certain shopkeeper. You read his well-pressed literatures, weighed his wares, evaluated his rarities.
The creature raised its head aggressively, growing into a wider, more fearsome being.
"Well then!" Shinny exclaimed, "Let's have at it!" She ran towards the creature's base, and, getting to its gelatinous abdomen unopposed, she raised her needle with confidence.

Shinny, now using both her arms, desperately punched into the mouth of this demon. Already, she could tell it buckled with every strike, and a strange, fishy fluid bleed from it. In its death kneel, it seemed to throb. "Just a little more..." she shouted, before a jolt caught her by surprise, shoving her snug into the beast's gaping maw.

Although the first time I remember getting an actual boner over shrinking stuff was reading Tom Thumb in class.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was a pretty big factor as well. I used to fantasize about the mom just taking the kid home after he shrinks and keeping him like that as a punishment. I actually broke the Honey I shrunk the kids tape, I watched it so much. I just rewound the bit where they got hit by the shrink ray over and over. And yeah, Chocolate Factory was pretty good as well. Ditto that Animorphs where they shrank down.
