I get this with Romance languages. The way adjectives are applied in Spanish/French is usually the inverse order from English. It's not an issue of machine translating or doing things word for word. The issue is that you end up with an awkward sentence in English because it's an awkward sentence in Japanese. This is especially true when he sometimes tries to pull a kind of film noir style of narration (he usually does this in scenes that take place in a street, go figure). It's one of those issues where you either keep it so that the translation is as stilted as it sounds in the original, or change it so that it flows better but loses what the author's trying to convey. Which answer is better usually depends on what the comissioner wants, but I personally prefer to keep the style of the author.
As for the rest of the improvements, I think most of them are good. Half of the other ones you changed are ones I tried to keep shorter to save the image editor trouble (seriously, look at page 006), but I think it might be best just to keep them longer if they end up sounding weird.
I've updated the pastebin with the improvements. If that's all the suggestions you have then all that's left is the image editing process.
