It is/was a very good and extremely popular manga, and it just so happens to have TG as one of its central premises. (It's literally in the title, in a cheeky way.), that's basically all there is to it.

Ranma is one of the first instances where TG is used in a mainstream manga/anime without it being used exclusively as a throwaway joke and/or major drama (there were a few before it using it but the guy-turned-girl would instantly be hypergirlish and demure "because of what the body dictates").

Ranma (especially in the manga) only dresses girlishly when:
a.) she is required to by some pre-established rules
b.) wants to piss off her female suitors (especially Akane) to show she can be better at being a girl than they are
c.) she wants to take advantadge of how her female body (by dressing up nicely to get free meals/nights out/etc from random male strangers)
And yet despite this he claims would give all of that up in an instant to have a "normal male life".
The author has been in record to have said that the way she wrote Ranma he considers the times as a girl as "crossdressing". If he isn't going to have a say on if he is to be turned into a girl or not he'll make the most of it and own it up and use it to his advantadge rather than let it dictate his life in a manner that he dislikes.

Well, I enjoyed it. The angels vs demons thing eventually went into a lot of detail, including a lot of background information and some neat twists, and was pretty much the main driver of the plot by the end.
The transformation content and the main character dealing with the changes was also a big part of the story, some mental changes, but nothing excessive or unwarranted.
It bears noting, if only because this is /d/, that there is essentially no sex. As much as I did enjoy the story, it never motivated me to pull out my dick. So if that's specifically what you're after, it's probably not worth your time.

Not really. Because for all we know in the established logic of the pic the character could still be fictional/nonexistent, so it's just an ordinary transformation.
It's only twinning if they're transformed by the original into a copy, (Or 2 individuals transform into the same character, ect) thus the twinning aspect.

"half done" because they basically had to start it from scratch but it should get updated more than once a day because it has about a dozen people working on it so if one or more cannot work on it for a time the rest can pick up the slack or add new members to the team.
Also, their stated goal is basically do "a spiritual spinoff" of Press-Switch instead of hijacking Press-Switch itself as the author to that has said he is still working on that (albeit slowly) and would prefer if they did something like this.

Morpheus a shit by the way. Well, that's not fair, he has some awesome ideas, but he also has many big flaws as a writer that he doesn't respect. Sometime of his stories are like, a half is completely awesome and exactly what I was looking for, and the other half is unreadable trash that I can't get past without skipping. It's really amazing somehow.

Second installment got a little... zany.
