We know that every time Steven is in danger, you pray the little jerk gets himself killed so that Rose's gem will return the only person who ever loved you.
The thing is, Pearl, that Rose is truly happier being gone. No past tying her down, no obligations, no responsibility for the horrible crimes perpetrated in her name. The truth is, she's forgotten you, just like everything else she wished she could forget, and even if you find a way to restore her, she will have nothing but contempt for your possessive and obsessive compulsion to return to her side.
Oh it's an admirable effort, this facade of caring, or at least tolerance, you put forth. It's a shame it's wasted on an effort that will never bear fruit. You were forgotten the moment Rose chose her pet over her servant, and you will never be anything but a broken, defective dog without its master.
