They didn't need Roxanne for conflict, they've whizzed past every decent chance for conflict in the plot. Being homeless, finding gigs, a shady seeming record executive scooping them up so quickly, controversial music, getting a record made, ect. Everything comes so easily to Steg and Suria, I just don't care about them as characters.
The porn is only thing the comic takes time to 'flesh out', and it's only slightly above average. The artist draws bodies really well, but her faces suck.

I find the characters in Blaster Nation to be way more likable, way more fun and way more interesting than anything Rock Cocks has to offer.
Even the porn in The Rock Cocks is so short for how little there actually is to the writing standard Brad had for Blaster Nation.
Overall incredibly disappointed. I like Rock Cocks. But Blaster Nation is a billion times better.

I vastly prefer Blaster Nation, but Rock Cocks is clearly their passion project and I would rather they make comics they want to make than be forced by their fans to do another they may not care as much for.

Like no, it's not perfect, but it's better than a lot of shit that gets as popular as Blaster Nation did. And there's a clear arc of improvement on the part of the creators as time goes on.
Rock Cocks had a really strong opening in my opinion (that first chapter was BEAUTIFUL) but it seems like the lewd stuff is just getting in the way of pacing now rather than adding to the experience. Again, though, Brad and Leslie have shown themselves to be more than capable of learning and improvement as time goes on.

Because we've been doing it for 5 years and over 500 pages and it just hasn't been fun lately. We're out of ideas, or at the very least, out of appealing, interesting ones that will keep the comic exciting for us and the readers. I personally really liked doing the Logan chapter. It was fun for me to explore Logan as a character, it gave Leslie some really interesting, intense stuff to draw, I think we did that whole chapter the best we could. I've seen a few people say that they dropped the comic because of it, but a whole hell of a lot more people really dug it, and I'm glad they did.
On the same subject, I think the fighting game chapter was the worst thing we've ever made.
The main reason this comic doesn't get a fuckton of threads here that lasts for day with 100+ posts is that there is not much to hate about it. The thing about /co/ is that we religiously read comics that piss us off. Like that guy who likes Transformers who makes that collage comic I'm not going to name.
When Blaster Nation gets a new issue we go "Oh, this was pretty good" and that's it. I don't know if this should be taken as a good thing or bad thing at the end of the day.
