These are the types of characters who, at best, show up to get beat up in some Bat-event in the next few years before fading into obscurity forever [see Onyx]. That's assuming they don't get killed [see Orpheus]. Or get ignored completely [see Sasha Bordeaux, Sin, Misfit].
