Hear me out on this, she has been shown a lot in Season 2. A season or (ideally) 2 seasons without her would be for the best. Allow some other characters to shine, and allow hype to build up for when she eventually returns.

Not sure which crew member it was but someone wrote a post about how they'd planned to concentrate on the mains and their sidekicks but expected Dominator to show up in a few episodes nonetheless, like those other side characters. Some of the crew's people tease them though, since they keep mentioning season 3 in their posts. It would have had enough character background stuff for the main guys and they said something along the lines that there would have been some test for Wander throughout season 3 or parts of it, whatever that means. It's already interesting enough for me to see the protags working together and they are always new planets or even galaxies so who knows. My pet crack theory: both Hater and Wander are from Earth. In fact, they're both from the same orangutan that got sent into space as some early space flight test. Hater is the skeleton, Wander is the skin and fur. They went up into space, there were cosmic rays, they got torn into 2 different people and sent to different galaxies and have wandered growing in power ever since. This is just the first time they've come in contact with each other, and it's why Wander was so drawn to Hater over and over instead of just, well...meeting him once then wandering off into the sunset.

Well even in the series some people believed Wander was a monkey and the creators said that this monkey from Earth was related to one or more main character. Maybe they just said it to make it less obvious but fans identified him as Hater from the very beginning so I am not sure.
This would mean that thousands of years have passed though - so that the story is taking place somewhere in the year 3000+ AD, and it would mean that Hater is either pretty old as well or that the monkey's skeleton part was lying around or trapped somewhere for ages until it either came back to life or awakened as Hater at some point when Wander was alraedy wandering around for ages.

Maybe they were both monkeys in the space program? I'm just picturing them never getting along even then, just picturing Hater as a monkey being a total grouchy dick hanging on his tire swing on his lonesome, but maybe that's how they handled their seperation: Wander became afraid and wanted to help, Hater became angry and wanted validation.

Me too, especially after the finale, but I always did and I can't really explain it. I normally hate incompetent fuckup villains, but he was always endearing and I wanted to see him succeed. I hated Dominator looking down on him the way she did, and the last episode was immensely satisfying.

It's good, anon. The beginning of the first season is good but it doesn't pick up till about mid first season. Second season, it truly flourishes, Dominator included. I remember starting the second season and being pissed that Lord Hater seemed to be "Jack Spicer-fied" but as it progressed I fell in love with him even more.

So far we only know that it would have explained the past of the main characters, especially Hater and how he turned into a lich thingy, some of Peepers's past too and most likely how they've met, plus some "test" for Wander, whatever that means, more Hater development and a few other things I am forgetting.

Something somebody said after the finale made me picture a scene where Wander finds Dominator and (without going into too much detail) talks about how he figures she's the way she is because she went through something similar to whatever he went through that made him the way he is, though they dealt with it in very different ways.
