The creator's better at not being a hack and ending the show abruptly at season 2 despite having a plan and the means for a 3-season story.
And I'm saying this before 2 and 3 have even aired.

Im enjoying it more than gravity falls tbqh and I really liked GF

Star Vs. is just an alright show
its animation is much worse, you can flat out notice the robotic animation
the pacing on a lot, more plot heavy, episodes is terrible
there's a lot of just quiet moments when Star and Marco are just talking with no music in the background, between scenes that come off as awkward
and the show didn't really feel like it knew what it wanted to be
where Gravity Falls knew what kind of show it wanted to be from the beginning
not saying its a bad show, its just alright
