Walking Dead needs a generation skip, Invincible could maybe use one too, after the BugVit War, but that's harder because of slowed aging.
With walking dead, we get it, people suck. But they're surviving. Its time to get to a stable place, and have 20-25 years pass. Grown up the kids, let them have kids of their own, let's see real society start to come back, and do some interesting stories with that. You can do environmental stuff (is it right to turn power plants back on?), Humanitarian stuff, going out and finding survivors who have been alone for a long long time now, whatever, just move forward.
With In, I'm a bit tired of Mark. Skip ahead 15 years after the BugVit War, the surviving BugVit kids are integrated into the other vitrumites on Earth, and start breeding as well. The first generation of Vitrumite/Human children is 20ish, and starting the second generation. You can get stuff like Rex has kept tabs on all Vitrumites, and has a list of their kids and children's children that leaks, so there is drama there, 100ish supermen in your midst, some people knowing that breeding with them will cause your kids to be superheroes are actively seeking them out, Earth is a powerhouse of the universe, and the coalition is getting scared, etc.
Kirkman's problem is he never moves the big picture story forward too far.
