That's one of the reason people figure they're going to make an announcement this week, it's the last week of June/start of July. I find it interesting how Jasper has only showed up for a bit, yet has one of the larger fanbases out of the gems from the show. She really left an impression on a lot of people, granted her appearance was a real game changer. I've seen a lot of Jasper fans with this sentiment, more so than with the other gem that had limited screen time, Lapis.
