That's what the woman Jane was based on thought as well. Always kind of bugged me thatthe "happy ending" for Jane was full personality merge, when Truddi Chase was always very clear that that was something she didn't want.

Sure, I just didn't know if it was supposed to be his "thing" or just how the Chief was described to me. I just remember my DC friend explaining that he took in crazy super people and sent them on horrible suicide missions to help them cope. But he wasn't really interested in them getting better, or something.
