You can actually get an official copy of Owl's Room now. It's in a mini you get if you buy Megahex or Amsterdam from Fanta. It also includes the first ever print version of Xmas 2017.
Also Simon's reasons for changing Owl's Birthday were purely for comedy and tying it better with the finale of Megahex. He explains it well here,

So as far as I can tell there aren't any stories that take place between Owl moving out and Xmas 2017. That's about all the specific timeline you can put to it.
