we were staying a float the first the days, the last 3 days have been rough.
Normally, I hate it when the temperamental character (Keith) acts irrational and impulsively attacks an enemy that is way above him, but I kind of respect Keith for attempting. He wanted to end the war and saw an opportunity he thought could save billions of lives. Not to mention Zarkon fighting a paladin piloting his lion, with only his bayard was one of the best fight scenes, as well as confirming that he was the former Black Paladin.

Yeah this show seems to go for the fewer but better-drawn frames path in lieu of having more quickly drawn frames for smoother animation. It's kinda notable in the fight scenes where the choreography is nice and you don't have to worry about pausing on a badly drawn face, but as a result the fights look kinda choppy in motion.

I gotta agree with this. I've seen a lot of people calling it mediocre, or outright shitting on it, but the animation looks fine and consistent to me. It may not have as many bells and whistles as some animu shit does, but it's a hell of a lot more consistent throughout the episodes than a lot of anime I've seen.

Mysteries to be revealed in the future. Shiro seemed to remember having known Keith in the past, so it's a good bet he's either a longtime friend of Keith's family or some sort of past instructor/student acquaintance from even before the Academy. I think that would be interesting. They could reveal that anybody can use the Lion, and Lance won't believe it. So he asks Allura and she reluctantly tells him it's the truth. This would break his confidence and then when he tries to pilot it it won't let him, so then he feels even worse.
Allura takes the blue lion for an episode because they absolutely must have Voltron and Lance can't seem pilot the blue lion.
All the lions go out to fight the bad guy but they can't form Voltron and the blue lion is not performing well under Allura.
All the while Lance is hearing this through his helmet and thinking this is how everyone dies, because of him not being able to pilot the lion. Allura flies back to get Lance because she knows he's the only way they will form Voltron. She explains to him that the blue lion can be piloted by anyone, but only someone who believes in themselves like he did can truly bring out the lions potential.
He gets in with renewed confidence, they re-form Voltron and he uses his Bayard to make a new weapon for voltron that saves the day.
